When Ilah was just 5 years old, she helped dream up a better way for kids to clean their rooms—one that felt colorful, playful, and easy to follow. With her natural cuteness, big imagination, and surprisingly sharp business instincts, Ilah became the heart behind Tidy Kids Co.™
She didn’t just want kids to clean.
She wanted them to feel proud, capable, and excited while doing it.
And as her mom, an educator, and her biggest believer, I committed to turning that sweet idea into a real tool families could use.

As an educator and mom, I knew there was a reason kids often struggled to clean up. It wasn’t laziness. It was overwhelm.
A messy room asks a child’s brain to do a lot at once: decide where to start, sort different items, stay focused, make choices, and finish the job. Those are all executive function skills—the same brain skills children use for learning, planning, problem-solving, and independence.
So together, Ilah and I created a system that breaks clean-up into simple, visual steps.
One pile.
One zone.
One choice.
One habit.
That idea became the TidyMat™, a screen-free clean-up tool that turns a messy room into a colorful sorting game.

Tidy Kids Co.™ began as a family idea, but it has grown into something bigger: a playful, practical system for parents who want less nagging, fewer meltdowns, and more meaningful independence at home.
And at the center of it all is Ilah—the little founder with big ideas, bright energy, and a love for making clean-up fun.
Ilah also has a personal mission close to her heart: giving back to kids living in homeless shelters. As Tidy Kids Co.™ grows, part of our purpose is to help children who may not have a room of their own still experience dignity, joy, comfort, and care.
Because every child deserves to feel seen, capable, and proud.
And when kids feel like heroes, even a messy room can become an adventure.
